The Vitality Running World Cup 2020 is to be postponed
In light of the current situation relating to COVID-19 we have taken the difficult decision to postpone this year’s Vitality Running World Cup until further notice. We know that this will be disappointing news for many of you but the health and wellbeing of everyone taking part is our number one priority.
As a global virtual running tournament, our intention was to continue for as long as we could, however, as we have seen stricter measures introduced from the national and local public health authorities and governments from around the world, it is only right that we postpone the competition until after the pandemic to reflect the seriousness of the situation we are all facing.
We want to thank all of you for your support and for being part of a truly international competition. We had 391,000 people sign-up from 234 countries and territories around the world. Your involvement has also seen over 300k children given a lifeline through the UNICEF vaccination donation rewards from Vitality.
We will be back up and running soon.
